Taipei Ximen｜versblue_taipei - A newly opened small bar next to the Ximen Red House

I recently wandered around Ximen Red House and unexpectedly discovered a small bar with an amazing atmosphere — VERSBLUE Taipei.
It's tucked in a lane next to the Red House (No.5, Lane 10, Chengdu Rd). The exterior is low-key but very design-forward: blue neon and a clear glass door — you can tell at a glance it’s one of those places that gets more beautiful as the night goes on 😎. (I absolutely love their interior design and color scheme.)
The little decor items around are super cute~~~~
They’re actually open during the day, so it can work as a café or a spot for an afternoon drink. At night the lighting becomes really atmospheric, and once the music starts it instantly switches into nightlife mode.
The bartender behind the bar is very friendly, not the cold, aloof type. On my first visit I ordered their special cocktail — I remember it being gin-based, with a fresh scent and a hint of fruitiness, pretty approachable for beginners. (Highlights: all lovely guys; the owners score high on handsomeness and warmth.)
The vibe isn’t too loud or awkward, so it’s pretty easy to chat with people and even make friends (you know 😉).
Overall it feels like a little secret hangout within the Red House scene — no exaggerated dance floor or performances, just a comfortable, relaxed place to have a drink, listen to music, and look at some handsome faces.
If you like those small bars that are "pleasantly tipsy and warm," you should definitely give it a try.
