【Klover Massages】KAO Therapist Unboxing: Beachside Slide or Hidden Gem? 💆♂️

The first time I walked into Klover Massages, I actually didn’t have much expectation. After all, the photos all look similar — you get numb from looking at “face or no face” shots for too long, so I purposely picked a therapist without a visible face — KAO — as a blind-box gamble. The result… well… this time it probably wasn’t a hidden limited edition 😆 (laughing through tears).
🛁 Environment & sense of ritual
The shop is on the second floor in Sathon, reasonably convenient, but the restroom is outside — you have to step out and then come back, kind of like a little extra “foreplay” walk… though that also adds a hint of mystery (?). When you check in the front desk hands you a welcome tea/snack plus an info card, so the vibe has a bit of polish. The treatment room is fairly spacious, the bed is wide, and the shower is a standalone pod-type, with a slight Japanese Muji feel.
💆♂️ The massage itself
When the therapist came in he was gentle, first offering a single-use mouthwash packet and explaining the amenities and procedure in English (if you understand English you shouldn’t have any problem). His technique was fairly detailed, pressure was gentle but firm when needed, and he worked through the key areas slowly; when I was tucked in there was a comforting “be good, don’t be afraid” kind of care. I’d hyped up “PRO KAO” in my head expecting some god-tier moves, but… I really overthought it 🤣 The skill level felt like a standard 60–70 out of 100 — nice and comfortable, but not “wow OMG” impressive.
There were a few small interactions during the session, occasional light “hellos,” like a slide at the beach — when you’re drifting off a little stimulus snaps you back, giving a subtle ambiguous/teasing vibe without crossing the line. When I flipped to face-up I was already thinking about what to have for dinner (lol), but couldn’t help sneaking glances at the therapist’s technique — delicate touch, the patient care of someone used to long-term caretaking… and at the end the sunset was still bright… imagine the rest yourself.
