SPY Korea Hands-on Review: Massage, Therapists, and Atmosphere — All Explained at Once

Visiting Seoul, besides the nightlife, SPA is also a highlight many friends want to experience. This time I'm sharing a well-regarded gay-friendly massage place in Itaewon — SPY.
🔹 Reservations & process
SPY is quite thoughtful with bookings: besides phone, they use KakaoTalk — everyone in Korea uses KakaoTalk. My recent bookings were all through KakaoTalk, and they’ll send you a list of therapists (with photos), making it easy to pick the type you like. English communication is fine, so foreigners don’t need to worry.
🔹 Location & atmosphere
The location is in lively Itaewon, very convenient for transport. Although tucked inside a building, the space is kept clean and there’s a hot tub to make the whole experience more relaxing. The overall atmosphere is quiet and private, not oppressive — great for first-timers.
🔹 Therapist features
The therapists here are very diverse. Some shared they chose Chul-hyun and said he not only has a cute smile and strong hands, but also provided a surprising interaction at the end;
Others chose Goon-il — although there was a language barrier, he was professional and friendly, with excellent service.
Others like DongHo, Joojin, Ji-Hwan have received good reviews as well:
DongHo: muscular macho type, top-notch massage skills;
Joojin: handsome and gentle, leaves you relaxed in body and mind;
Ji-Hwan: rugged looks, precise techniques, you feel reset after the session.
Overall, the therapists are not only eye-catching in appearance but truly professional in technique, able to satisfy both relaxation and interactive preferences.
🔹 Experience
The whole process was smooth and efficient — from the welcome to the finish everything felt comfortable and relaxed. The pressure is adjusted according to your needs: professional when required, friendly when appropriate. After the massage, I really felt lighter walking out.
Pro tip from an experienced customer: If you want extra pressure or specific interaction, make it clear at the start — the therapists usually accommodate.
🔹 Why recommend
✅ Easy and convenient booking
✅ Diverse, stylish therapists
✅ Professional techniques, friendly service
✅ Clean environment, easy-to-find location
✅ LGBTQ+ friendly, relaxed atmosphere
If you’re traveling in Seoul and want a relaxing and reliable SPA, SPY is a great option to add to your list.
