【BackDoor Party First Experience】I was in the backyard, dancing until dawn!

I've always heard friends say "BackDoor (Hou Ting)" is insane — darkrooms, ripped guys, EDM, four floors, the whole place full of muscular men dancing like crazy... To be honest I was half-skeptical, but last month a friend dragged me there and I realized it was like another world opening up.
That day I took the metro to Ximen Station and walked over. I saw a lot of people dressed crazily along the way, like we were all headed to the same party. At the entrance the lighting and the vibe already made my heart race a bit — there were so many people and the atmosphere was electric!
As soon as I went in I was hit with heavy electronic music. The DJ was up on a platform, and the lights shone over all the muscles, sweat, and smiles — the whole dance floor was shaking. I remember the theme that night was “Glow in the Dark”; everyone had glow stickers or paint, and even the cocktail in my hand was glowing.
My friends and I ordered drinks at the bar first, then went in to dance. The venue has four floors in total. We went from the main dance floor up to the darkroom level (yes, there really is a darkroom — I won't say more, you should experience it yourself 😂), and one floor in between was a more chill lounge area where you can sit, talk, and meet new people.
The whole event went on until 5 a.m. — I didn't want to go home. All I felt in the moment was that this is a place where you can be completely yourself. No matter what role you play in everyday life, for these few hours at BackDoor you just dance, drink, make friends, and enjoy the moment.
Before I left that night I even exchanged IGs with a guy from Hong Kong — he said he came to Taipei just for this party. I really thought — Taiwan's nightlife is unbelievably attractive!
