Because I couldn’t get an appointment with Ted before, this time I booked five days in advance.
From reading previous posts I heard the therapist isn’t very interactive, but the photos were so attractive that I decided to give him a try.
At first impression he felt like a big kid.
He has a deep, very manly voice with a hint of youthfulness.
His clothing was also sporty.
In terms of conversation and interaction, I didn’t find him as unfriendly as some previous shares suggested.
Basically, if I initiated conversation Ted would respond; he was just more passive (perhaps he doesn’t start topics~~
From the acupressure I could tell Ted is an experienced therapist.
Not only was his pressure strong, his techniques were also very on point.
I had done weight training the day before,
and Ted practically worked out the lactic acid buildup in my muscles.
The only drawback was that there was relatively little acupressure on the front side.
What I enjoyed most was the gluteal area.
He’s the most meticulous therapist I’ve encountered in all my massages.
Most therapists tend to work over large areas,
but Ted works into very fine muscle fibers.
Especially when he manipulated the muscles around the "petal" edges, it really sent an electric-like sensation up my body.
The oil massage portion was also unforgettable.
The therapist’s palms were relatively large yet delicate.
So during the oil strokes there was a feeling of being enveloped—very comfortable.
A thoughtful touch: because the weather was a bit cold, the oil had been warmed.
Combined with the therapist’s "sunny hands," it warmed me up completely.
He also didn’t disappoint in terms of the level of intimacy.
But I think this depends on each person’s expectations — my own expectations weren’t very high.
So the therapist accommodated me quite well.
Just being held against his chest filled me with giddy, romantic feelings.
Overall, he’s a highly recommendable therapist — his technique, service, and value are all up to standard.
