The owner of a certain spa in Kaohsiung borrows money and doesn't repay it, changes the rules at will, and even forcefully demands tips?

Going to Man Nan SPA was honestly speechless.

Once the owner brought a therapist over and suddenly asked to borrow NT$1,000 from me. I lent it out of trust, but more than a month passed and after reminding them six times they still haven’t paid me back. That really felt very disrespectful.

Then there’s their promotion trick. At opening they said “top up NT$5,000, get NT$5,000 free,” so I thought it was a good deal, but after my first use they suddenly changed the rules and said the stored credit could only be used to offset NT$500 per visit. Such arbitrary changes made me feel like I’d been played.

The most frustrating thing was that many therapists are especially good at “hinting” about tips, making you feel awkward if you don’t give one. While tipping is common in the service industry, this kind of pressure made the experience really poor.

I went to relax but ended up encountering so many anger-inducing things. I hope people will be more careful when choosing places like this, and I hope the shop pays attention to customers’ feelings and stops letting people down.
