Sharing some experiences at Taipei massage shops

Sharing a few massage places I’ve been to in Taipei
Hope to discuss and hear about other people’s experiences

Because I have someone I’m seeing, I rarely go to saunas or gay massage places
But because a friend introduced me last year, he said the whole process didn’t have any sexual parts, just serious massage work
So I went to the place he recommended at the time
(From here I’ll only use numbers, unrelated to any shop initials)

A. More like a private studio
This place isn’t one of those famous shops you hear about a lot; strictly speaking it’s a private studio
But it’s very hard to book, mainly because there aren’t many places that really give a proper, serious massage
So appointments are only available far in advance
The first time I went, of course I was fully naked, but since I remembered my friend saying there wouldn’t be any sexual parts, I didn’t think much of it. The therapist did apply plenty of pressure and afterwards I felt very relieved
However I was still teased a bit — although it wasn’t the main service, surprisingly there was some penis-massaging
In that situation it’s really hard to refuse, but I don’t understand why my friend told me there would be no sexual parts.
Overall the massage experience was pretty good; for people who care mainly about whether the therapist really knows how to work on you
I think he did a very good job.
I didn’t reach out to touch the therapist during the session, so I can’t comment on his body.

After that first experience, the switch for gay massage seemed a bit turned on for me
So three or four months later I looked online and booked a second place
B. A shop in an alley in Xinyi District; this time I followed the process and booked a therapist I liked online
That was last summer; I remember taking the afternoon off, thinking it might be quieter then
Walking in would feel less pressured. The therapist I booked came out to get me shortly after I arrived
There was a shower in the room, but I don’t know why the therapist neither asked me to shower nor to change clothes
I was even massaged while still wearing my top. The therapist wasn’t rude, but since it was summer and I went in the afternoon
I was sweating quite a bit and my clothes stuck to me when I first lay down
He didn’t ask me to shower — first, that sticky feeling was uncomfortable; second, I was worried the sweat smell would make the therapist uncomfortable too
The focus of the second place wasn’t on the massage after all
You could clearly feel that the therapist didn’t actually massage well; the pressure and technique weren’t as good as the first time
I also didn’t feel any more comfortable after the session
The therapist teased me slightly; when he was massaging my hands I felt his hands were quite soft and pleasant
I also briefly held his hand, and when he was massaging the top of my head he placed my hand on his thigh
I then casually touched his thigh and his crotch area a little, but that’s as far as it went
After that there was no more teasing or any genital massage
To be honest, after it was over I didn’t feel any more comfortable, and there was no sexual part
But at least the therapist was my type; holding his hand a little satisfied me somewhat
Still, it wasn’t worth the money

The third place was not long ago — I’d been really busy with work for a while, and after finishing I really wanted a massage to relax
So I looked online for a third place
With the experience from the first two times, I felt I probably prefer someone who gives a proper, serious massage
The sexual part isn’t necessary — a bit of teasing would be enough, and maybe a prostate massage at the end
I thought that would be perfect
So this time I didn’t go after the well-known shops; I looked for a place that seemed to really focus on massage

C. Also more like a private studio
The ads clearly mentioned prostate massage and similar services
I assumed it would be a place that gave a serious massage, so I booked
This time it was tucked away in a residential/office building
The therapist wasn’t quite what I imagined
But I didn’t mind — I just wanted a serious massage
During the session I felt it was between the first and the second place
He was somewhat more serious about massaging you, but I didn’t think he had as much technique as the ads claimed
During the session the therapist did lightly press his genitals against you a bit
I also touched his body a little
In two hours the most I did was touch the therapist’s genitals
He also teased my nipples a little
There was a prostate massage at the end, but I stopped touching him after that
It wasn’t a terrible massage, but it did omit some of the things the ads promised
The cost wasn’t much different from those well-known places everyone knows about
I felt that if I really wanted teasing I should probably pick a therapist I liked by type
No major complaints, but overall I just think the advertising was a bit exaggerated
I probably won’t consider it again

I really like massages; they don’t have to be gay massages
But if a gay massage can be done well and includes a little teasing, it can be a bit addictive. I’ll probably still occasionally try other places to see if anyone else gives a good massage
I’d also like to hear recommendations from other netizens
Thanks everyone
