AARON's impressions of S p a Ea t(not sponsored)

2023-01-03 15:57:22

I had been watching for a long time and read many people’s posts about the big shops.

I mustered up the courage to book AARON. Because it’s hard for him to get days off, I booked almost a month in advance with the owner.

I have to say the owner was very attentive — he went back and forth asking the therapist about his availability until finally both sides could make it! That was really considerate.

I think I arrived too early that day. Although I waited a short while and customer service said I needed to wait, the only downside was they didn’t say how long I’d be waiting or what the therapist’s status was. But maybe I didn’t ask enough, so it’s fine — I was the one who came early!

The therapist personally came to greet me and was smaller than I expected (though it was actually written in the profile — I had really forgotten!).

He was easy to talk to and would start conversations proactively; if you want a quiet massage, he will respect that. Very thoughtful.

At first I went to shower. The therapist said I could just put my clothes in the room’s basket, but I suddenly felt shy and didn’t dare to undress completely. Afterwards, after showering, I figured we’d be seeing each other anyway, so it didn’t matter!

Back in the room, the therapist used a towel to check if I was dry; the inadvertent touch to a sensitive area was pretty embarrassing — but in a happy way!

During the initial shiatsu, the therapist was actually quite serious about his work. He would talk about anything and would proactively ask whether his pressure was too hard or too light — very attentive.

Throughout the session he massaged seriously; I felt his technique wasn’t rough nor did he use broad elbow strokes. He mostly used his palms to relax localized muscles — genuinely quite comfortable.

There was, of course, some timely teasing during the session, but since it was my first time I was bashful and didn’t dare be the aggressor.

The therapist also said not everyone is as nice as I am; he feels mutual respect is very important.

He even asked during the session if I wanted to use the restroom or have some water — it felt caring.

The later oil massage was the part I was looking forward to.

I was more passive and only touched his calves; the therapist took the initiative to guide things.

There was a pleasant surprise at the end!

Since it was my first experience I didn’t want to ask for too much XD

Overall he’s a very dedicated therapist, and from his schedule you can tell it’s not his main occupation, but he still showed professionalism!

In the post-session chat he suggested I try getting massages from other therapists too — that earned extra points in my book.

He doesn’t make you feel like you must come back to him; he actually makes you feel like a friend rather than just a customer.

I hope everyone cherishes therapists like him!
