A friend went to MoHou Spa today. The therapist kept saying this was not allowed and that that wasn't wanted, and even demanded an extra NT$2,000 to get more — this place is basically a scam.

Also, MoHou constantly posts photos of muscular men on Twitter. The page admin confidently replies that it’s a pure massage business; if anyone mistakenly thinks it’s a gay spa, please don’t go. Their therapists only provide strictly sports/therapeutic massages.

So if you’re thinking of spending money at MoHou, please think twice. They’re also worried people will mistake them for a gay spa. A reminder to those planning to spend NT$2,200 on a gay spa: Taichung has more and better options. If you want a regular massage, go to an experienced therapist — don’t waste your money.
