Man Who Tested Positive for COVID-19 Reports 4 cm Shrinkage of Genitals; Subject Devastated “Shorter than Average,” Doctor Reveals Cause
According to foreign media reports, a man spoke anonymously about his experience on the online magazine Slate’s podcast. He said he is a heterosexual man in his 30s who tested positive last July and had severe symptoms. After discharge he developed erectile dysfunction; although his condition improved with treatment, he discovered that his penis, which had previously been longer than average, had shrunk by 1.5 inches — equivalent to nearly 4 centimeters (about 3.8 cm). He also revealed that it is now shorter than the average length. The man said this was caused by vascular damage, and his physician believes this is permanent, irreversible damage, adding that it has seriously affected his confidence in his sexual performance.
